Scholarship Application Instructions - Please read the full page carefully.
* There is NO fee or charge to apply.
Step 1: Write down the email address you see in the image below. This is the address you will email your application to. Your application includes the information requested in step 2 and step 3 below. Your essay must be typed or pasted into the body of your email message. Attachments will not be opened, for security reasons. For example, you could type your essay in a Word doc first, do your spelling and grammar check, then copy your edited text and paste it into your email message.
Step 2: What to include before the essay in your email:
- Your name, age, and city & state (U.S.) or city & country (International). For awards in each country go to the main scholarship page.
- Include the URL (web address) for either your Facebook or Instagram profile (or other social media), whichever can best be used to verify that you meet the criteria for this scholarship. This scholarship is for people between 16 and 25 years of age, and of minority status (non-white/caucasian) or who identify as LGBTQ+ (you can be white/caucasian and LGBTQ+ to apply). Please note that your profile will not be tagged in any announcements, you will not receive any "friend" invitations, and winners will be notified privately.
- Do NOT include your physical mailing address in your application. If you are notified as one of the top 5 applicants for the U.S. prize, you will be asked for your mailing address at that time (for shipping the three books to you).
- Please note that the email address you use to submit your application will be the one used to create your online course profile if you are awarded the scholarship.
Step 3: The Essay
Consider the following statements when preparing your essay:
Essay Question:
Who are you , and how do you want to help other people and/or Planet Earth?
Are you a member or leader of any communities, associations, organizations, or clubs which have a positive impact on others?
Do you know your personal mission in life? If not, what are you doing to find out what it is?
If you are in school, what topics are you studying to help you with your mission? What are you doing outside of school to help you with that?
If you have already graduated and are working, how does your work help others?
If your job isn't helping you fulfill your mission, do you think the scholarship award can help you in that process, and why/how?
And finally, how will expanding your consciousness help you grow as a person, and help others?
Sean will be the only judge reading the essays. To get to know him, watch his intro video on his Consciousness YouTube channel, visit his Blog page, or watch a recent interview on his Media page. But remember, your essay is about you, not him.
Essay Length:
There is no length requirement. It can be only a few paragraphs, as long as they reflects a careful and meaningful consideration of the questions above. This scholarship is partly about identifying people who can influence others through positive communication. Are you an inspiring and concise communicator? Don't forget to spell-check :-)
Deadline:
Applications will be accepted through April 11. Winners will be notified by April 30. They will be notified privately (not on social media). A public announcement may go out using only the winner's initials and city/country.
Consider the following statements when preparing your essay:
- Psychic development and dream-awareness can also increase one's intuition, sensitivity, and creativity.
- Intuition and creativity can assist people in the fields of science, mathematics, engineering, technology, the arts, politics, healing & medicine, spirituality, and more.
- Planet Earth needs humans to change how they relate to her and to each other. Innovation and communication are essential to that change.
- Planet Earth needs unique leaders to educate, influence, and inspire others to make the changes necessary to benefit the whole planet, starting with their local communities.
